new file - nav display error

When creating a new file in a folder in the project drawer, if you change the Location via the text field of the "new file" dialogue box, it still appears to create the file in the currently selected folder in the projects drawer. However the file is actually created in the correct location, as typed in the Location field.

Replicate the error like this:

1. Open a directory of text files (mate /path/to/dir)
2. Select path1 and click "new file" (or right-click)
3. Enter a filename and change Location to path2
4. The file appears in the nav in path1 folder
5. Attempting to drag the file to path2 appears to fail (file appears to remain in path1)
6. Switching applications and returning refreshes the nav, and corrects the problem
