ruby double-click should select the entire variable w/@ etc.

For ruby mode, when there are tokens such as "@myvar" a dbl. click on it will not select the scope resolution operator(s).

Would be great to have it to so in ruby mode, so that '@myvar' gets selected at dbl.click and not just 'myvar'

You can add @ to the word characters.

There will be something a kin to per-scope word characters (though not exactly that) in a future release, so I am closing this ticket.

Thanks for the fast reply! But I did not understand it ... what's a 'per-scope word character' etc. ?

Well, what you want is to just treat @ as a word character.

Go to Preferences and you can just add that character.

The per-scope refers to you only sometimes wanting this change in preference.
