Terminal hangs using mate command line utility
I've been trying to fix this all morning without avail. I've checked other tickets and sites regarding this issue. Most of them point to Logitech drivers. I do not have LCC. (I even installed the latest version of LCC, 2.7, and uninstalled it to ensure this wasn't my problem.)
Trying to run "mate ~/Desktop/file.php"
If TextMate is not running:
2009-06-12 14:02:59.427 mate[966:10b] Exception raised during posting of notification. Ignored. exception: '[NOTE: this exception originated in the server.]
*** Object does not implement or has different method signature' invoked observer method: '*** -[OakLaunchHelper didLaunchTextMate:]' observer: 0x11d190 notification name: 'NSWorkspaceDidLaunchApplicationNotification'
TextMate opens behind the Terminal window. (Terminal retains focus). No file opens. Terminal hangs indefinitely. Process must be killed.
If TextMate is running:

TextMate gains focus (above Terminal). But again no file opens. Process completes. Terminal does not hang.
TextWrangler's "edit" command does work. (But I prefer TextMate, obviously.)
Running: OS X 10.5.7, TextMate 1.5.8 (1498)
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I don't have LCC installed. I tried Gruber's tips for manually removing Unsanity APE via command line as per his and Apple's suggestions in the event it was still having an effect, but it made no difference.

Try remove everything from /Library/InputManagers

Tried that both /Library/InputManagers and ~/Library/InputManagers. Didn't work. Tried removing other suspect Library folders. Finally, found the problem directory:
I've attached the full structure of this directory in case you want to (or even can) determine the culprit.
Thanks for your help. Good luck on TM 2.0.

It was likely one of the four plug-ins found under that folder.

You're right. Several restarts later... BlogMate was the offender.
